Affinity Portals are not add in ASP services for an organization’s website, but rather are alternative, associated websites that serve as a gathering place for members or supporters of individual organizations.

All-in-One service providers offer an integrated approach to providing the online services that nonprofits may desire. Combining a number of outsourcing services in a complete or modular package, these companies provide “one-stop shopping” for nonprofits looking for software-as-a-service (SAAS) solutions that maximize flexibility and choice without large hardware, custom programming and maintenance costs.
Charity Auction
Charity Auction sites are run pretty much like their big commerical sites like EBay, but a share of the proceeds go to a designated charity, not just to the seller. Online auctions may be time limited, minimum-bid reserved, silent or open just like at real charity auctions. Some of the services in this category also maintain auction pools that nonprofits can join and receive a share of total money raised.
Charity Shopping
Charity Shopping websites bring together the two growing internet forces of online fundraising and online shopping. A nonprofit can share in the proceeds of the shopping habits of their supporters by registering with an Affinity Shopping site, and then encouraging their supporters to do their shopping through that portal.
Donor Management
Online donor management services offer tools for donor analysis and management, allowing an organization to manage its entire membership and donor database using just a web browser, and avoiding the extra cost and management issues of hardware and maintenance of having an in-house, offline donor database system.

Membership and supporter lists are an important asset for nonprofit organizations. Online planned giving services offer a range of philanthropic investment tools to assist donors in planning their legacy gifts, ranging from simple gift calculators to complex investment-tracking systems.
Social Networking
Social Networking tools encourage individual members and supporters of an organization or cause to interact with each other, share their stories, photos, videos, and other activities, and encourage each other and the community at large to become more engaged and active.
The big commercial social networking sites like YouTube, MySpace and Facebook have millions of members, but there are other socially conscious sites that are building memberships around activist and social change philosophies.
