NPower Seattle: Tech-Savvy Communications Toolkit

NPower Seattle has published another guide to help nonprofits become more effective in their use of new media communications tools. NPower aims this guide at organizations who want to use new media to tell their stories, but who lack the knowledge and capacity to be as effective as they could be.

The Tech-Savvy Communications toolkit is our response to the need we saw for a resource to fill in the missing pieces by 1) providing an overview of effective communications for nonprofits, and 2) emphasizing technology as a tool in effective communications.

Major areas covered in the guide are:

1) Laying the Groundwork / Foundations of your Message Framework

2) identifying your audience,

2) developing key messages,

4) reaching your audience through effective channels and tactics
